From what time can I check in and until when do I have to check out?

Check-in is possible from 2:00 p.m. Check-out is until 10:00 a.m. 

Is there a parking area or a garage?

Yes, the hotel offers ample parking facilities as well as a garage / underground garage.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome (€ 15.00 per day).

What catering options are available?

Breakfast buffet; small à la carte dishes at lunchtime; in the evening a choice of 4- or 5-course menus with Mediterranean and Tyrolean specialties.

Is there a wellness area?

Yes – indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna area (Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, relaxation area) as well as massage and beauty treatments.

Where is the hotel located?

The hotel is located in a wonderful panoramic position in Schenna, with views over Merano and the Texel Group.

Are there rooms with a balcony or terrace?

Yes, all rooms feature a balcony with south-west orientation and panoramic views.

How can I get to the center of Schenna or to Merano?

There is a scenic panoramic walking route via the Mitterplattweg to the center of Schenna (approx. 30 minutes), or alternatively a bus stop directly in front of the hotel.

Is the hotel family-friendly / suitable for children?

Yes – families are welcome. Family rooms are available, and activities such as hiking are possible in the surrounding area.

Is the hotel rather quiet or is there evening entertainment?

The hotel offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Most categories feature modern amenities such as air conditioning, seating area, safe, flat-screen TV and balcony.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and in the rooms.

Are special dietary options available (vegetarian, gluten-free)?

Yes, vegetarian dishes as well as gluten-free and lactose-free options are available.

Is there an e-bike rental or sports activities?

Yes – among others, e-bike rental, sports activities such as guided hikes or bike tours, rental of backpacks and hiking poles, as well as tennis courts and mini golf nearby.

What about the use of sauna and pools? Are there any restrictions?

Pool and sauna facilities are available in the hotel; massages are available upon request.

How is the hotel managed – family-run or large-scale?

It is a family-run hotel (“Family Pircher & Team”) with a personal atmosphere.

Are there special offers or themed weeks (e.g. hiking, cycling)?

Yes, for example “Hiking Week” or “Bike Days” with stays of 4–7 nights.

What about the local tourist tax?

In South Tyrol, a local tourist tax is usually charged and is not always included in the room rate.

How is gratuity handled?

There is a shared tip pool, which is distributed among all employees.

Does the hotel have an elevator?

Yes, the hotel has an elevator. All floors are accessible, including for wheelchair users.

Is there a children’s menu?

No, there is no separate children’s menu. Children may choose from the daily changing menu; a children’s dish is included in the menu.

Is there a minibar in the room?

No, the rooms do not have a minibar. A refrigerator can be provided on request for an additional fee.

Can massages be booked in advance?

Massages are offered at the hotel. They can be arranged and booked on the day of arrival.

Is there a fitness room in the hotel?

Yes, there is a small fitness room available. No personal trainer.
